Authorities in Peru have sadly confirmed that 29 people have been killed after a bus fell from a cliff.
According to local media reports the 29 people which included a child were tragically killed after the bus lost control and crashed on the Carretera Central road which is 60km east of the country’s Capital Lima.
Police investigating the crash say a further 20 people including two children were injured in the crash which happened on Tuesday afternoon.
They also say there were a total of 63 passengers on the bus at the time of the crash and a search operation is underway to locate any survivors.
