According to a local resident, the Holy Mother has etched herself on the wall of a house there, delighting parishioners and myth debunkers alike.
News of the portent soon spread, and a congregation of about 50 people turned up to pay their respects.
The Virgin Mary loves hanging out around Limerick, it seems, as this is the second time she appears there in recent times. Herself was spotted at St. Mary’s Parish Church in Rathkeale back in 2009.
