Shannon Airport is doing its bit for the farmers, as it has emerged that 1,000 bales of fodder will be donated out of the airport in an effort to palliate the current fodder crisis.
A large number of farmers ran out of fodder for their animals, due to the unusually long winter.
The fodder input will be of great help for hard-pressed farmers struggling to feed their animals.
