Storm Barbara is in full swing off the Atlantic coast, bringing strong winds and high waves that may pose a risk to safety.
There is a Status Orange wind warning in effect for coastal regions and high ground of Donegal, Galway and Mayo, which will remain in effect until 6pm today.
Elsewhere in the country, a Status Yellow wind warning applies, until the same time.
