A female pensioner aged 74 has died following a road accident in Drumshambo, Co Leitrim.
The collision between a car and pedestrian happened at Acres, Drumshambo, Co Leitrim at around 7.15pm last night.
The woman was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has been removed to the morgue at Sligo General Hospital.
The female driver aged 50 was uninjured. There were no other passengers in the car.
