German authorities have released a man they had in custody in connection with yesterday’s deadly attack in Berlin.
A man drove a steel-laden truck through a crowded Christmas market near the city centre, killing 12 and injuring dozens more.
It is understood that the driver fled the scene after causing the carnage. Police arrested a man shortly afterwards, but he’s been released without charge today.
The manhunt continues.
