Newly appointed to the poison chalice that is the health brief, starry eyed Simon Harris has pledged that one of his priorities is to improve hospital food.
And he also said that the recently revealed plans to dismantle the HSE are aimed at giving hospitals and community health services more independence and decision-making abilities.
The minister also reiterated his intention to set up an Oireachtas All- Party committee to develop an unified vision for the health service over the next decade.
