Parents have been warned to be extra vigilant with their children’s online activities as a new horrifically dangerous game known as the ‘Momo Challenge’ has reached Ireland.
In a public announcement, Gardai say parents should monitor their children’s online activities as the challenge has seen a rise in recent weeks.
It is understood the sick challenge encourages teenagers and young children to carry out a number of dangerous challenges including acts of self harm.
Gardai say the game is targeting youngsters on a number of different social media platforms and children as young as seven have been targeted.
People are asked to share this information with their friends.
