It has been confirmed that the British city of Birmingham will host the 2022 Commonwealth Games, after Durban failed in its bid to host the event. The South African city was eliminated due to financial concerns.
The Commonwealth Games have an estimated budget of £750m.
The event was last held in Glasgow in 2014.
