The Black Lives Matter organisation has removed some of its goals from its website in effort to sanitise its image for public consumption.
The key organization of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, which is officially called “Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation”, has removed a section of its website detailing its goals which include calling for a disruption of “the Western-prescribed nuclear family.”
Leading leaders of the BLM movement, including one of its co-founders, Patrisse Cullors, have described themselves as “trained Marxists” with one of the precepts of Marxism being the abolition of the traditional family.
The original website’s post about the goal in relation to the family read:
“We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.”
The BLM website had also proclaimed the organisation’s opposition to “heteronormativity” and embraced the broader trans ideology stating:
“We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise),”
With rampant violence, looting and arson in recent months by supporters of the movement in the United States as well as some incidents in other countries such as the UK public opinion has widely turned against the movement and scrutiny of its objectives and ideology have also led to public revulsion.
