A leading Black Lives Matter figure has threatened the City of New York with “riots,” “fire” and “bloodshed” if Mayor-elect Eric Adams follows through with his promise to crackdown on crime that is currently spiralling out of control in the Big Apple.
Mayor-elect Eric Adams has said he intends to bring back plainclothes anti-crime cops to battle New York’s surge in violent crimes which have reached levels not seen in the city in decades.
Now New York BLM co-founder Hawk Newsome has announced plans to oppose the return to tougher policing and made terroristic threats should the new mayor attempt to protect the lives and properties of his citizens.
The New York Post reported that Newsome said:
“If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing then we’re going to take to the streets again,” New York BLM co-founder Hawk Newsome said outside Borough Hall after the meeting.
“There will be riots. There will be fire, and there will be bloodshed,” he threatened.
