Gardaí in Co Donegal have confirmed an investigation is underway after a man’s body was recovered from the River Eske, on Tuesday.
It is understood the man’s body was discovered by a passer-by who was walking in Donegal Town on Tuesday morning.
Gardaí say the man’s body was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where a post-mortem examination is set to take place.
They added that the results of the post-mortem will determine the course of their investigation.
