A body of a female was retrieved from shallow waters on the River Suir today, during the search for missing teenager ELisha Gault.
The body was spotted near Fiddown bridge earlier this evening. Garda divers entered the water and successfully retrieved it just after 7pm.
The body has not yet been formally identified, but Elisha’s family have been informed of the discovery.
