A boil water notice has been implemented in Limerick after a local source of water has been found to be cloudy.
It is understood the notice has been put in place for around 500 homes and businesses who are served by Fedamore public water supply.
The Health Service Executive, Irish Water and Limerick City and County Council say the notice was necessary as it is in the interest of public safety.
Meanwhile Irish Water and Limerick City and County Council say the are working to resolve the issue.
