A boil water note has been issued for people supplied by way of the Wexford Town Public Water Supply.
It follows water deliver problems in the southeastern town and surrounding areas on Friday.
Irish Water and Wexford County Council say the measure, which comes into effect on Saturday afternoon, is because of concerns at the “elevated levels of turbidity in the supply which has impacted the treatment process”.
The notice covers all regions supplied by means of Wexford Town Public Water Supply, together with Newtown, Barntown, Taghmon, Ballindinas, Shelmalier, Colestown, Coolcots, Carriglawn, Clonard, Townparks, Park, Mulgannon, Maudlintown, town centre and surrounding regions.
