Boots Ireland will no longer sell energy drinks to people under 16 years of age




A spokesperson for Boots Ireland has confirmed that the company will no longer sell energy drinks to children under 16.

Staff will also ask for proof of age if the person looks to be under 16.

Boots Ireland is the first non-food retailer to join the ongoing health initiative to restrict the sale of drinks with high sugar content to young children.
