Bottomless trough: Politicians claimed almost €3m in travel and accommodation expenses for the first half of 2019




As hundreds queue at makeshift soup kitchens in Dublin and over 10,000 people remain homeless across Ireland, politicians have their faces snout-deep in the trough, gleefully ruminating the cud of public money.

The Irish Mirror has revealed that our elected representatives put in claims for travel and accommodation expenses worth almost €3m during the first half of 2019.
