Gardaí in Co Offaly have begun an investigation after a 11-year-old boy was injured following a road traffic incident this morning.
It is understood the investigation comes after the boy a pedestrian was injured following a collision between two cars in the Cappincur area of Tullamore at approximately 8.40am.
Although thankfully the boy’s injuries are not life-threatening, Gardai say he was taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital for treatment.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
