Police in the UK have sadly confirmed that a nine-year-old boy has died after a locker fell on him at school.
According to BBC News, the tragic incident occurred at Great Baddow High School in Chelmsford, Essex, at 6.15pm on Thursday evening.
It is understood the child was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment but sadly died a short time later.
Police investigating the incident say the child wasn’t a pupil at the school, but was instead attending an after school club.
They added that the Health and Safety Authority have been notified about the incident.
