Brian Kennedy spoke candidly with Matt Cooper on the Today FM show The Last Word today about his battle with cancer.
He spoke of how he was passing blood and eventually went for a colonoscopy where they found a tumor.
He said he is currently receiving treatment for the past the two weeks and has another four weeks left before he will know if he needs surgery.
The upbeat singer urged men especially to go to the doctor if they saw anything untoward.
He was very candid and very brave with both his ordeal and request.
