Gardai have announced that a 14-yr-girl missing from her home in Co Louth since Monday has been found safe and well in Belfast.
Twice on Thursday, a Child Rescue Alert was issued in relation to 14-yr-old Svetlana Murphy, however it’s understood that gardaí have confirmed tonight that it has now been stood down.
Gardai say that the girl will be brought to her family later tonight but that she is safe and well and is in the custody of the PSNI in Belfast.
It’s understood that the PSNI have arrested an 18-yr-old man in relation to the incident.
Gardai say they are not providing any further information but thanked the public for sharing the girl’s image on social media.
