
A man aged in his late teens has died from injuries sustained in an assault in Co Meath last month.
The assault occurred at a business premises on Watergate Street in Navan in the early hours of 21 June, reports RTE.
The young man suffered serious injuries and was brought to a hospital in Drogheda before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where he died on Wednesday.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out, with gardaí saying the results are not being released for operational reasons, reports RTE.
A man aged in his late 30s was arrested last month in connection with the investigation into the assault.
He was charged and appeared before Navan District Court on 26 June and is due to appear again before Trim District Court on 28 July, reports RTE.
