
A 29-yr-old man has been charged following a knife-related incident in Dublin’s Stoneybatter area over the weekend.
South American migrant, Gabriel Fereira Motta Valladeres, residing at Broadstone Avenue, appeared in Dublin District Court facing four charges. He is accused of two counts of assault causing harm, as well as possessing a box-cutting knife and scissors under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act, reports RTE.
The alleged assaults occurred on Sunday, February 9. One man was reportedly assaulted on Oxmantown Road in Dublin 7, while another was assaulted on nearby Niall Street. Additionally, Mr. Valladeres is accused of possessing scissors with a blade or sharp point on Manor Place on the same date. He also faces a charge for possessing a box-cutter knife, described as having a blade or sharp point, on Murtagh Road.
