The Department for Health has confirmed that 48 people have died from coronavirus today and 1,254 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
Today’s figures include the death of a 30-yr-old with covid.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 193,892 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 3,214 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at more than 211.
