A 13-yr-old girl has tragically died in a crash at a motor racing event in Co Cork.
The crash took place at a track in Enniskean, close to Bandon in west Cork.
The girl was participating in a round  of an official Cork Autograss Racing Club event when her vehicle crashed.
She sadly was pronounced died at the scene.
Her body has been taken to Cork University Hospital.
A garda investigation is under way.
