Judge McLoughlin has remanded Anthony Lambe of Annadrumman, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan in custody over the murder of mother-of-3 Irene White in April 2005.
The 34-yr-old appeared before a special sitting of Dundalk District Court earlier today.
He is charged with the murder of Irene White, of which he said “I am very sorry” in court.
The murder of Irene White took place on April 6th, 2005 at Ice House, Demesne Road, Dundalk near the Carroll’s village shopping centre in the centre of the town.
The murder investigation of the lady had gone cold until Anthony Lambe was arrested yesterday.
