Breaking news from Co Offaly this evening as a 4-yr-old boy is in “critical condition” following a fall from an apartment building in Edenderry.
The building is located in the Garnary Court area of the town.

It’s believed the boy fell from his apartment approximately at 11:30am. A male motorist stopped his car as his witnessed the fall and tended to the boy until his mother ran down.
Together, they took the child to a local medical centre where witnesses say the boy’s mother ran in screaming that her “baby had fallen from their apartment”.
The motorist and the boy’s mother then rushed the boy to Temple St children’s hosptial where he is currently said to be in a ” critical condition “.
