Police in Australia have in the last few minutes thankfully managed to apprehend and arrest a gunman who shot and killed a number of people.
Around 10:50am a Irish time, a 45-yr-old man drove his vehicle to a hotel in Darwin and, as local media is reporting, “shot it up”.
A number of people have been severely injured while at least four people have been killed.
Police have said no motive is known yet for the mass murders or what nationalities the victims are.
