It’s understood that within the last few minutes, little Alfie Evans has been granted asylum in Italy and will be able to continue his treatment there.
The brave little soldier has fought for his life with the help of his parents Tom and Kate pleaded with the EU which saw the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) decline to help little Alfie Evans in his gallant fight for life.
The ‘Save Alfie Evans’ Facebook page posted a status asking people to ‘press the hospital fire alarm’ after the result from the court was discovered by crowd outside the hospital who weren’t happy with the result and decided to make their voices heard.
However, Tom has confirmed that thankfully Italy has stepped in to help his beautiful little boy:
In a statement released by the Italian government in the last few minutes, they’ve confirmed they’re ready to help:
“The Italian government hopes that Alfie Evans being an Italian citizen allows the child immediate transfer to Italy,” the government said in a statement and that they’re ready to help save his life.
