Update at 4:10pm – Greenlane’s primary school has confirmed that Cian Zambra has thankfully been found safe and well.

UPDATE: The Liberal has contacted his school and 9-yr-old Cian Zambra is STILL missing in Dublin at 3:40pm.

Green Lanes National School in Clontarf has appealed for social media sharing after a 9-yr-old student has gone missing.

Cian Zambra was last seen this morning by his mother this morning, he never turned up for school.

His mother last saw him as he left for Green Lanes National School in Clontarf and his schoolbag has since been found in Raheny in the capital.

Green Lanes National School in Clontarf posted the following:
“Cian Zambra’s mother watched him walk to the corner of Kincora Road this morning. He did not turn up to school.

“His schoolbag has been found on Springdale Road opposite St Joseph’s Hospital. Did anybody see him or has anyone got any information.

“Call Cathy Atkin 0868337528 or Aidan O’Shea 0851410952. Thank You.”

Cian was last seen wearing a blue anorak, navy tracksuit bottoms, yellow and navy shoes, a navy hoodie with a green stripe.

Journalist comment: please, please try and help this family by getting this boy’s photo out there. It sounds like an extremely serious situation.
