It’s a tragic start to the new year for a community in Derry this morning after a 19-yr-old man was killed in a car crash overnight.
PSNI have confirmed that two Audi cars crashed into each other on the Moneysharvan Road between Maghera and Swatragh at 2:30am this morning.
The young man died from his injuries while a woman driving with two passengers in the other car are in hospital being treated for their injuries.
The PSNI are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
