Tragically a 3-yr-old girl was killed in this accident.
A very young child is in a critical condition in hospital this evening after being injured in a major road crash on the M20 near Patrickswell, Co Limerick.
Three cars were involved in the collision which occurred at 5:15pm
The motorway are closed between the Adare and Patrickswell interchanges and diversions are currently in place.
It’s not known the full extent of the conditions of the other travellers, but it us believed the young child is in the most serious condition.
