As the US election grips the attention of the world, all eyes are on Florida where both candidates are neck in neck as votes pour in across the battleground state.
Florida was described by one BBC pundit as ‘Alabama on top, New Jersey at the bottom, with Ohio in the middle‘. Although Trump won the majority in 2016, the state was blue for the Obama elections of 2008 and 2012.
Tonight Trump has tweeted that his chances of returning to office are ‘looking good’ across the nation. Euronews reports that Joe Biden has spent $6 million on Facebook adverts targeting Florida, while the Trump campaign spent $4 million.
