The government is still having an ongoing meeting with NPHET over what measures they are recommended be implemented onto the Irish public.
It’s understood that sporting events will now be played behind closed doors with RTE reporting that many other significant suggestions are being mooted.
Over 70s will be advised to take extra care with pubs that are allowed to be open possibly seeing further restrictions imposed.
