As basically the entire world is told to observe social distancing regulations, two separate Black Lives Matter protests are taking place today in Ireland.
There have been pleas from gardai and politicians to not hold the protests in Tullamore and Longford town today due to social distancing but organisers have ignored their pleas, donned their masks and are starting their protests this afternoon regardless.
