The Department of Health have confirmed that 4 people have died from coronavirus today along with 9 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 25,222 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 1,684 deaths.
Community transmission stands at around 60%.
