The MMA star Conor McGregor has been released after 48 from custody on suspicion of sexual assault and indecent exposure – claims the Dubliner vehemently denies.
The 32-yr-old was in Corsica when he was arrested on Thursday night following a complaint made against him.
According to the Sun, a statement from the prosecutor’s office was given to AFP:
“Following a complaint filed on September 10 denouncing acts that could be described as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony Mac Gregor was the subject of a hearing by the gendarmerie services.”
An associate of Conor McGregor has told TMZ: “Conor McGregor vigorously denies any accusations of misconduct. He has been interviewed and released.”
Conor was in the holiday resort to promote a water safety campaign.
