In breaking news this evening, the HSE has announced that another 235 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been detected in the Republic of Ireland.
It brings the total in the Republic of Ireland to 1,564.
Tragically however two more patients with covid-19 have died in the last 24 hours, one of whom, a woman, had underlying health condition while the male did not.
