In breaking news this evening, the HSE has announced that another 255 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been detected in the Republic of Ireland.
It brings the total in the Republic of Ireland to 1,819.
Tragically however ten more patients with covid-19 have died in the last 24 hours, one of whom, a woman, had underlying health condition while the male did not.
Three people also died in Northern Ireland with another 32 cases announced there earlier today.
