The Department of Health have confirmed that there’s been a massive jump as a total of 38 people have died and 657 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland with a further 411 older samples returning from Germany.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 12,547 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 444 deaths.
Community transmission stands at around 60%.
