The Department of Health have confirmed that there’s been a massive jump as a total of 33 people have died and 553 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 8,928 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 320 deaths.
Community transmission stands at 60%.
