Two people from a County Mayo family have sadly been killed in a road crash in Pakistan.
Three other family members have also been injured in the incident.
55-yr-old Noreen Shafiq, who is originally from central County Mayo, and her 18-yr-old son Umar both sustained fatal injuries, after the car they were in collided with a bus.
Three other members of the Shafiq family, who are living in Ballinrobe, were also injured in the crash. It happened in the Faisalabad district of the province of Punjab.
Mrs Shafiq’s husband, Shafique, and other family members, Tahime and Ambreen, have also been badly injured in the crash.
