It’s looking like there won’t be room in the next Dail for Catherine Noone whose current position makes her very unlikely to win a seat.
Recent controversies like the time she suggested that Leo Varadkar might have autism didn’t do her any favours and it’s likely that her time spent canvassing will turn out to be time wasted.
If this happens, it will come as a big disappointment to Noone who is currently a member of the Seanad but had no doubt been hoping to convert her profile into a Dail seat.
It remains to be seen if she will fail in this attempt but right now, things aren’t looking good.
