Ireland’s chief medical officer, Dr Tony Holohan has been admitted to hospital in Dublin after he felt very unwell.
The top medic complained that he was feeling quite unwell during a coronavirus briefing on Tuesday evening.
Dr Holohan is believed to have been tested for covid-19 but it’s understood that he appears to not have contracted it.
Other doctors have said that Dr Holohan is under major pressure during this crisis. They say he should make a recovery by the end of the week and have wished him well.
