The national forecaster is predicting a rather unsettled weekend weather-wise, with plenty of rain and wind, but mild temperatures of around 14C-15C.
Conditions will take a turn for the worse from Saturday night onwards, with heavy rain falling across Munster, and very strong winds around coastal areas.
Sunday is expected to be particularly bad, with outbreaks of persistent, heavy rain, and strong southerly winds.
