Dublin Fire Brigade are battling a major fire in Ballymun this afternoon.
It is understood that up to 30 firefighters are at the scene of the fire which broke out at a Sillogue Green, Ballymun.
The fire which is causing major plumes of smoke has affected visibility on the M50.
It is believed that up to 40 scrap cars are on fire and Dublin Fire Brigade have advised those living in the surrounding areas to close their windows.
