In what can only be described as a truly horrendous outcome for all the business owners and workers in Dublin, the Taoiseach Micheal Martin has announced that Dublin is effectively being placed on lockdown from midnight tonight for three weeks.
Indoor activities are gone, spectators for outdoor activities are gone.
Travel restrictions in and out of Dublin are gone, except for essential work and journeys.
Wet bars remain closed
Visits to long term care facilities are put on hold
Weddings and funerals can have a maximum of 25 people in attendance
Restaurants can only have takeaway or outdoor seating
The government say that they’re working off NPHET’s recommendations but many people believe that the restrictions are a step too far. What do you think? Tell us your thoughts in the Facebook post and share this with your friends.
