In what can only be described as a monumental load of nonsense, Louth County Council have someone managed to find the money to stage this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade.
There was much uproar when it was announced that Dundalk would not be having a parade this year due to lack of funds, but alas, it’s been officially confirmed this evening that the parade will indeed go ahead as usual.
Between the LCC, Dundalk Credit Union and various other entities, it parade will go ahead as normal on March 17th.
