There’s some shocking and indeed sad news emerging this afternoon as one of RTE’s Fair City’s main cast, Robbie Quinn aka Karl Shiels has suddenly passed away aged 47.
Details pertaining to the actor’s death have not been made known at this time but it’s understood that both cast and crew of the RTE soap are deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the news.
Mr Shiels had been a main cast member of the show since 2014 where he played the husband of Carole Foley.
