The Taoiseach Micheal Martin, the Tanaiste Leo Varadkar and the Green Party’s Eamon Ryan are holding a full Cabinet meeting to decide whether or not Ireland is going to placed back on lockdown with Level 4 Plus imposed across Ireland.
Many, many people don’t want to see another lockdown imposed once again but it’s looking likely that Dr Tony Holohan’s recommendations will be demanded by the government and that the Irish people will once again see draconian measures enforced.
The meeting got underway shortly after midday with Martin expected to make an announcement at 9pm tonight.
